The Berlin-based Travel Tech company is setting the course for the future development of the company and strengthening the sales team with experienced industry experts.
Kalina Nikolova, GIATA’s former Head of Sales, will take the lead of the newly-formed division with immediate effect as Director of Business Development. Apart from implementing the GIATA ID as an industry standard, Kalina is building new strategic partnerships and promoting the expansion of GIATA’s content diversity. Rainer Schäfer is taking over the responsibilities of Kalina as Vice President of Sales. GIATA is bringing on board a dedicated sales professional with over 35 years of experience in the tourism sector to develop new markets and assist the company in achieving further growth. “I am looking forward to helping GIATA expand its global network, and marketing its top-class mapping, content, and distribution solutions around the world”, says Rainer Schäfer.
Claudia Beck also accepts a new sales role as GIATA’s contact person for tour operators with immediate effect. With her extensive knowledge of the needs and demands of the tour operators, she supports them in their search for top-notch hotel content.
