About the study

The evolution of the Greek Tourism towards 2030 in a sustainable way that will optimize its multidimensional footprint, requires a staged transition from a spontaneous-oriented development to a structured and target-oriented model with a holistic strategic outlook.

This must be achieved considering resources, national and regional objectives, as well as global megatrends.  In this framework, INSET has contracted a study to the Deloitte-Remaco consortium, to identify the opportunities and challenges created by tourism for each one of Greece’s key destinations, individually and in clusters, and propose strategies and actions to support this transition.
