Maria is a Senior Executive with 20 years of working experience in highly demanding and diverse business environments. She has led a series of corporate communications and public affairs projects, targeting various stakeholders and has shown demonstrated ability in issue and crisis management and has accumulated experience in tourism, aviation, shipping, real estate and retail industries, etc.

Maria joined SETE in 2018 as Director of Communication and in September 2020 she became General Manager of the Confederation. Prior to that she was at V+O Communications for more than a decade, where she handled large scale accounts and gained significant experience in key business fields. She holds a BSc in Business Administration from the American College of Greece and a Master’s Degree in Tourism Marketing from the University of Surrey.

Since 2020, she is a mentor of the egg – enter•grow•go program, actively supporting young entrepreneurship. In the same context, from May 2023, Maria was elected Board Member of the non-profit organization JA Greece – Junior Achievement Greece.
