Sommet Education, the worldwide hospitality education group encompassing the highly reputed education institutions – Glion Institute of Higher Education, Les Roches and Ecole Ducasse – is reinforcing its study portfolio with a wide range of flexible learning solutions including blended and remote learning programs.
Masters ‘A la Carte’ Study Options
For the Spring 2021 intakes, beginning in March or April depending on the selected program, Glion and Les Roches propose Master degrees in a fully remote format, face to face, or both. You will have the possibility to pursue 100% of your program on campus, 100% remotely, or could choose to study remotely until you feel ready or are able to join the campus.
On-campus and remote students experience the same classes. Both institutions maintain their longstanding commitment to personalized teaching, with a maximum 35 students per class (face-to-face and remote combined). Remote students receive one-to-one online mentoring sessions with program leaders and faculty during pre-defined office hours. Whether you need advice on your career path, help to keep you on-track for success or a guide to discovering what lights you up, your mentor will be there to enable your full potential.
Hand-picked working groups blend on-campus and remote students. Online psychometric tests enable remote students to develop their soft skills and leadership. Other digital/online features include business simulations and assessments, as well as a range of interactive extracurricular activities designed to bring the student community together. These include e-sport, talent contest, wine tasting and tandem language exchange.
Personalized career support for all Master students includes: bespoke career counselling, online interview techniques, LinkedIn profile set-up and career workshops. Remote students are invited to participate in the virtual Connect & Recruit – Online Recruitment Day. During this event they can meet and interact with more than 200 company representatives worldwide in the hospitality, finance and luxury sectors. All students enjoy equal access to career opportunities through the online internship and job platform. Remote students will be introduced to their local alumni office to help them become more closely connected to their community.
All remote students are offered a two-year window in which to join a study trip with on-campus students. This provides additional flexibility to schedule travelling at an appropriate time.
In alignment and to further foster the collaboration with SETE, 5 major partial scholarships will be granted to SETE members wishing to join the Les Roches or Glion programs for the Spring 2021 intake, whether remotely or on campus. Scholarship offers vary depending on the selected program and desired intake. For more information, please contact:
