GIATA: Hotels back in business

undefined

It will be a year of uncertainty in the origin and sourcing of travellers: only domestic or a good mixture of both, domestic and international. The only problem is, domestic & international, that a large number of Touroperators, OTAs and Travel Agencies have far too little content for the sale of Greek hotels. GIATA wants to resolve this and has launched the initiative “Hotels Back in Business. Greece Edition ”. In webinars, GIATA connects hoteliers with Touroperators, OTAs and Travel Agencies. Hoteliers will find out how they can quickly and easily place their pictures, texts and, above all, special facts such as “health & safty, distance, hygiene articles in the rooms, etc.” to greek & international Touroperators, Bedbanks & Wholesalers, Travel Agencies and on the websites of thousands of OTAs internationally. In Greek language and up to 24 other globally spoken countries for the visitors from foreign countries in the new tourism era starting this year.

During and after the crisis, varied and high-quality content remains the most valuable asset of hotels and hotel brands. The GIATA webinar on May 20 will focus on how to evaluate and create hotel content with a view to the coming months and the expected tourism volume in Greece, which channels will be the right ones for the rapid acquisition of customers and the recovery of market shares. GIATA will invite Greek tourism experts to the webinar. The following sales partners and tourism experts will share their expertise and assessment of the current and future situation with Greek hoteliers in this webinar: Wise RAM S.A. – Tourism & Hospitality Growth, 3 Fullsteps & Travel Exchange, Avra Tours S.A., a renomated Journalist Expert on Tourism, Cretan Holidays and DTS – Destination Touristic Service as well as international participants.

The experts will explain whether and to what extent the success of a hotel depends on the right presentation in its sales channels and what a “Greece – rediscover” strategy can look like. A gratifying side effect: previous statistics show that direct bookings will increase by eight to 26 percent if the hotel information is consistent across all online channels, whether OTA or tour operator.

GIATA will introduce the new GIATA Dashboard as part of GIATA Drive to the hotel industry.

In addition, GIATA gives the hotelier valuable information on the quality of the uploaded images and the density of the stored hotel information. With GIATA, outdated or low-quality images can be exchanged with just a few clicks, and faulty hotel facts can be updated easily and industry-wide.

GIATA will introduce a pragmatic hotel oriented support to more quickly develop business using content strategies, safe liquidity and costs at the time being.
