Since 2001, AIA has welcomed more than 315 million passengers and over 3.5 million flights. By offering one of the most comprehensive and innovative airline incentive schemes internationally, AIA secured a sustainable, growth environment for domestic and international traffic, strategically promoted “Destination Athens” through a wide range of actions and synergies, and constituted one of the biggest employment engines in Greece, with a contribution equal to 4.4% of the GDP for 2019.
