GIATA: Better Property and Room Visualization with Digital Twins | GIATA and LIQUID AMBIENT Make the Hospitality Industry Enter the Metaverse

GIATA, the proven leader in static descriptive content solutions in the travel industry, is pleased to announce its extended partnership with LIQUID AMBIENT. As part of this partnership, GIATA will be able to provide 3D tours of hotel rooms and distribute 3D visualizations, as well as all static content, to over 20,000 distribution channels, including major tour operators, OTAs, bed banks, and many more.

As an advanced content distribution platform, GIATA DRIVE has already covered more than 32,600 hotels in 25 languages worldwide. With the integrated “Digital Twin” 3D technology, customers can virtually explore and visualize hotels, venues, and destinations before making any booking decisions. This provides users with a realistic impression of a place without physically being there, making it easier for them to make informed decisions.

“Digital twins from LIQUID AMBIENT create the basis for the metaverse, which is an immersive and networked virtual world in which people will increasingly operate in the future. Hotels that already use 3D to visualize room tours are well prepared for the future and can benefit from the advantages of this technology,” says Andreas Posmeck, CEO of GIATA.

According to the study by TIG Study and Omni Hotels, the ability to virtually explore a hotel or destination before booking increases bookings up to 67%. LIQUID AMBIENT digital twins provide a realistic way to explore accommodations or venues, which leads to an increase in booking numbers. Customers can see the rooms, amenities, and location, giving them a better understanding of what they’re getting into.

Furthermore, LIQUID AMBIENT digital twins can save hotels and other businesses time and money. Such a 3D production can deliver 4K photos, guided video tours, 3D virtual tours, and floor plans for sales and marketing in a single production. This means that hotels and other businesses don’t need to spend a lot of time and money creating promotional materials.

“Digital twins are an excellent solution for the hospitality industry. They help customers to explore and visualize their accommodation or destination, which increases their confidence and likelihood to book,” says Stephan Seifert, CEO of LIQUID AMBIENT.

The partnership between GIATA and LIQUID AMBIENT is a major step forward in the hospitality industry’s adaptation to the metaverse. With the ability to provide customers with realistic and immersive experiences, the industry is better equipped to meet the demands of modern travelers.
